Drum Lessons

…their motivational and encouraging approach has helped me progress so much over the past year!

Don’t settle for ‘good enough’

Drums can seem like a simple instrument… Pick up the stick. Wack the thing with stick. Thing go boom. Easy Peasy.
In some ways, that’s true, and it’s one of the reasons drums is SUCH a popular instrument for all age groups; the barrier to entry seems LOW.

Here’s the problem: Once you start doing things a certain way, it can be really hard to change, and drums has a nasty habit of lulling people into a sense of progress, when all that’s actually happening is embedding of bad habits, that will seriously blunt your progress down the line.

Whether your aiming for speed, volume, playing along to your favourite songs, starting a band, or just dipping your toes in to see what being the ENGINE ROOM of Western Music is like, you can either do it RIGHT, or you can accidentally train yourself how to never reach anywhere near your potential.

Obviously, we’d much prefer all of our students reach their potential, which is why we are so passionate about our unique teaching techniques here at TMS, pioneered by studio owner, drummer, and teacher of teachers, Nick.

The best news is, this technique, that guarantees you the most bang for your buck, just happens to be the MOST FUN one as well!

Don’t take our word for it though, just come along to a FREE TRIAL lesson and we’ll show you!
