Along with his Bachelor of Music, Tom has been playing for over 10 years and works as a session musician across a number of original and cover bands.

    With over 10 years in the music industry, Matt is dedicated to making his lessons, first and foremost, very fun! Learning a new instrument can feel like hard work when you’re just starting out, so his philosophy is to Make Music, Not Work! His Bachelor of Music Performance and work as a session musician, fuels his passion to teach others. Helping students to feel excited about their instruments, is his specialty!

    Countless years of gigging experience, and a Bach of Contemporary Music and Performance, mean it’s easier to ask Stu what he CAN’T play. Consider Rock, Funk, RnB, Pop, Blues, Jazz and Reggae all done, at least, which means it doesn’t much matter what you want to learn, Stu is your guy! Our resident piano EXPERT, we’re yet to find something he can’t play or teach, so if you want the best, he’s your man!

    Mikaela has a number of verbal and non-verbal neuro-divergent students who all love to play the drums. She herself is a highly skilled player with over 150k followers online. She is partnered with Roland and plays in a wide variety of original and cover bands. Mikaela’s lessons are fun and engaging for any age.

    Ben’s lessons cater to busy beginners who want to get the most out of their learning time around their schedule. Through his Bachelor of Music, Ben continues to play lead guitar in a number of original and cover bands. He is a master of rock and knows exactly what tools you need to play the songs you love. Ben started teaching while he was in high school and has only grown more passionate and more skilled in his instrument.

    Nick stands out as our teacher of teachers. After instructing drums and ensemble lessons at JMC Academy, Nick decided to follow his passion and run his own teaching studio. His intelligence is evident in the way he breaks down intricate drumming techniques into digestible lessons, making the learning process both engaging and rewarding. His passion for percussion is contagious, inspiring students to delve into the intricacies of the instrument with enthusiasm. Nick teaches beginners and very advanced students.
